Yesterday I shared my top Hearth & Hand picks from their new collection. Today, I’ll share what I picked out for my breakfast area refresh!
My kitchen has come a LONG way from the ugly orange it was. I’m talking floors and cabinets were an orange wood tone and the wall color had an horrendous yellow tint making it look so much worse. Painting the cabinets, walls and doors have made a drastic difference but it’s time for a quick refresh.
Here are my picks:

The wood tones, as always, are my fave from Hearth & Hand. The wooden accordion rack was an upgrade from one I purchased a couple years ago from Etsy. I love this one because it’s much bigger and it fills the space up much better.
When I came across this wood planter, I was so excited to use it for my fake plants! LOL. I can’t keep a plant alive but I still love greenery. The snake plant is the perfect size for it and the watering can looks nice on the bottom shelf for an extra touch. This rubber plant is hands down my favorite plant they’ve released yet. I love the size and the hue – EVERYTHING.
The flower wall art looks so nice and refreshing in time for spring. I had a little problem where they shipped the same exacts ones so I had to hunt down and wait for the right one I ordered to come back in stock. For once in my life, I got lucky!
I’ll admit the mini wood cake stand was an impulse buy, but this actually has already come in handy for when I don’t want to bring out the bigger cake stands. We always get a mini 5″ cake for when we celebrate our birthdays between us four and this is perfect for that. This will also be perfect for our picnics!
I’m not really too big of a fan of blue but the blue color in this release has been the perfect shade of blue. The cloth napkins have the prettiest detail and I can’t wait to use them for our picnics as well. The cocktail napkins are always good to have around, especially in this household. I always have to have some sitting out on our table for easy reach. For a final touch, I placed the flour sacks on the accordion rack and these blue flour sacks are the nicest shade of blue I’ve ever come across.
I think I have just about every apron H&H releases, LOL. I really love the kid’s ones because my little guy loves to help out and the sizing is just right for his small frame. This apron has also been great for craft time! While this apron adds a nice touch to my kitchen, it’s a sturdy material that has already endured a couple washes.
I love how light and airy my breakfast area feels, just in time for spring. Well okay, we’re a long way away from spring but you get the picture. Still, these little touches have made a difference in this space and has brought some much needed cozy vibes.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my breakfast area spring refresh! You can find all the links to each item in my previous post. Oh, and by the way, nothing is sponsored – I just really love Target and H&H. 🙂
